I don't know much about sex toys and products, where do I begin?

Don't worry, you're not alone. Plenty of customers, both sex connoisseurs and novices, ask questions about our products. That's why we have some of the friendliest and most knowledgeable women in the industry working for us. They're here to answer your questions and help you find the perfect product for you. Do you have products for couples?

Of course. Many of the products we carry are designed to enhance the intimacy of the couple instead of just the individual (not that we don't care for the individual; we have plenty of products for both!). From wall art that you can create with your partner, harnesses, strap-ons, and vibrators that fit in the palm of your hand, to sex furniture, eco-fireplaces, and sexy games, we have plenty of items to enhance any relationship.

Do you carry eco-friendly products?

Yes! We offer brands like Intimate Organics, Leaf, and Sliquid, all manufactured to be environmentally friendly. We also offer many rechargeable products to help lower your carbon footprint and reduce battery waste.

Are all of the products body safe?

Yes. We emphasize selling products that are top-of-the-line, hypoallergenic, and body-safe. We avoid selling products made with bio-absorbent materials, or containing parabens, phthalates, and other controversial additives. If you have any questions about your item, please ask.

I found a toy I like, but the site says it's temporarily unavailable.  

If the item you want isn't available for sale online, please call or email us. We may be able to special order it for you.

What are your shipping policies?

We ship all over the U.S and offer several options for timely delivery. We also offer in-store pick up.  If interested in international shipping, please contact us here.

What are your return policies?

• All Sale merchandise is non-returnable.
• All returns/exchanges must have original tags attached and be accompanied by a receipt within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.
• All lingerie and clothing must be returned within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase and must be unworn with the tags attached and accompanied by a receipt. Store credit or exchange only. There are no returns for panties, one-piece teddies, boxers, or other underwear bottoms.
• All bath & body products are returnable within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase, and must be unused and accompanied with a receipt for store credit or exchange.
• All adult novelties can ONLY be returned if broken or due to a manufacturer's defect. If your toy breaks within 30 days, bring it back with the receipt and in original packaging for exchange of the same item. Some companies offer a 1-year manufacturer's warranty; please register with the manufacturer to become eligible for warranty protection. If your toy is from Fun Factory, Jimmyjane, or Vibratex, bring it back to the store so we can arrange for a replacement. If you purchased an item made by Leaf by Swan, Lelo, OhMiBod, Vanity by Jopen, or We-Vibe, please contact the manufacturer directly.
• The Velvet Lily reserves the right to change its return policy at any time or deny a return without a store receipt or if merchandise has been used.

I'm nervous about buying online. Will the package be discreet?

Absolutely. All of our products are shipped in discreet standard UPS brown packaging.

I'm interested in attending a workshop. Where can I find out more information about them?

The Velvet Lily holds monthly workshops with our trained sex educators where you can learn sex and relationship tips. There is no concrete schedule, but we will announce it publicly and well in advance for you to get tickets. We encourage you to sign up for our newsletter and check our events page regularly. Furthermore if you have any suggestions for workshops you'd like to see held, please feel free to let us know here. Our current curriculum is as follows: Blow Him Away: Hand Jobs and Blow Jobs, The Art of Self Pleasure, It Takes Two to Tango: A Couples Workshop, Getting Her Off: How To Please Your Woman, and Tease and Please.

Where is your store located?

The Velvet Lily boutique and retail store is located at 1040 North 2nd Street, in the heart of the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. We're in the pedestrian-only Liberties Walk, directly across from the Piazza.
